RESUMPTION: You are required to report to duty on the 15th February 2013, at the CA FOOD BEVERAGE (CAFB).
Your place of primary assignment is CAFB. However, you may be transferred to any other location or site / project in existence or that may come into existence in future.
PROBATION/TRAINING: You will be on probation/training for a period of three (3) months from stated resumption Date. Regular performance review will be conducted to assess your performance and suitability. Upon expiration/ completion of your probation period, if your services are found satisfactory,
your employment with CAFB will deemed to be confirmed in writing. If CAFB finds your service unsatisfactory within your period of probation, CAFB will dispense with or extend your probation period at its absolute discretion.
1. Job Designation: Annexure to acknowledge Job Description. Your job location are liable to change at any time including travelling to any of the Company locations within CANADA, North America, you will be governed by the rules of your location for the period of your duty.
2. During your service and duties to the company you will be governed by the rules and regulation including conduct, discipline and administrative orders of CAFB, and under the State of Alberta Labor laws.
3. Prior to resumption of duty with our Firm, you are to ensure that you hold no contractual restrictions that might prevent you from accepting appointment with CAFB on the stated Date. You hereby specifically confirm that your performance of the provisions of this Letter of Appointment shall not constitute a breach of your obligations to any other person or entity and you have not and will not at any time hereafter enter into any oral or written
agreement in conflict with the provisions of this Employment Contract.
4. Your appointment is subject to verification of certificate, qualifications, experience, personality, and other information provided while filing application for you position, if found divergence, CAFB will TERMINATE your employment contract and may be liable to punishment by law.
5. You are requested to produce original copies of certificate, qualifications, experience obtained etc., attested by required body/officer, at the time of resumption of duties to the Executive Director Human Resource Management of the Firm. All documents written in other languages than English must be officially translated into English certified and attested by required office. Failing to provide required documents may lead to delay of Contract
confirmation, or termination of your contract.
6. Accommodation: CAFB will provide full accommodation suitable for employees.
7. Transportation: Official Car/Bus will be made available by the Firm.
8. Working Period and Leave: You will be required to work for five days in a week, from Monday to Fridays, 8 hrs/day with break period and 40hrs / week
9. Leave: You will be entitled to avail leave in line with the Leave Policies of CAFB as applicable by the State of Alberta Labor Laws.
10. Privilege leave: Sick Leave and Casual Leave. All employees are entitled to one (1) month paid home leave and will be paid 100% percent of their basic salary. No allowances on leave period.
11. Travel and Migration: You will undertake full responsibility of your visa/work permit expenses; CAFB will reimburse your expenses on resumption of duty. And CAFB will provide air travel ticket after issuance of your visa.
12. Family Sponsorship: CAFB will sponsoring three family members only, this includes spouse, two (2) kids only, if you intend to travel with more than above mentioned number, you are liable to bear total responsibility. Kindly indicate names of kids and spouse in a separate document along passport details if you wish to travel along with any.
13. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF WORK:
a) You will carry out your duties as communicated to you from time to time, with diligence and loyalty at all time. Your working timing is 40hrs/weekly. Monday to Friday is 8hrs daily.
b) You shall not, under any circumstances either directly or indirectly, receive or accept for your service any commission, rebate, discount or profit from any person, company, or firm having business transactions with CAFB.
c) Your continuation in employment with CAFB is conditional on your maintaining a clear criminal and financial record.
d) Termination of Employment Contract: The employer and the employee can terminate the employment contract at any given time; either part will give one month notice or payment of one month basic salary.
e) Should you remain absent from work, without any reasonable explanation' for more Than five (5) consecutive, it will be presumed that you are no longer interested in working for CAFB and have abandoned its services, thereby terminating your contractual service. In such a case, you will not be entitled to any statutory or other compensation commencing from the first day after the expiry of such five (5) days period.
