EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

We have in file, your Resume, Job Application and other important data. After the evaluation of these documents, we found you qualified to work with our Team, Hence Hilton Garden Inn Hotel accepted to employ your services as an expatriate consultant for the provision of expatriate services as stipulated in the following acts in this document. This document embodies the approved Terms for the purpose of this contract.

 

JOB DESIGNATION  

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

PROBATION 

 

The employee is appointed on a job position brief training basis for a period of Two (2) months. 

Upon the completion of the training period, the employee will start work on the qualified position at his or her duty location. 

 

During the training period, the employee will be assessed as to their ability to perform the job requirements. 

The employee will also be assessed as to their ability to work in harmony with fellow employees, to get on with clients, students etc, apply themselves diligently to their duties without any supervision and to generally fit into the Hilton Garden Inn HotelUnited Kingdom’s work practices and culture.

 

In the event of the employee not performing to the required standard, this will be brought to the attention of the employee and where appropriate assistance and guidance will be given to overcome these obstacles.

 

Should the employee fail to meet the required standards of performance or behaviourtheir appointment will be terminate at the end of the training period or sooner in the event of such failure necessitating earlier termination or dismissal. 

 

During the training period, all Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom rules, procedures and regulations will apply with the exception of those, which are affected by the training period.

 

HOURS OF WORK 

Your normal working hours are from 8am to 6pm, break time 2pm to 4pm from Sundays to Thursdays. 

 

JOB CONTRACT DURATION

Three years, renewable / permanent staff.

SCOPE OF WORK SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

Devote all your time and attention during normal business working hours and such reasonable amount of additional time as may be necessary on an unpaid basis having regard to the exigencies of the assignments of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom to the business and affairs of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom.

 

You shall not devote any time or attention during normal working hours to any other concern or business without the previous written consent of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom having been obtained. 

 

At all times faithfully, promptly and punctually carry out and perform all your duties as may confirm with your position or with such duties or functions that may be delegated or assigned to you on behalf of the Directors or by your superior. 

 

Generally use your best endeavours properly to conduct, improve, extend, develop and protect the business and interest of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom in order to preserve its reputation and goodwill. 

Submit to the Directors or your immediate superior such information as may be required in connection with the business or affairs of the Hilton Garden Inn HotelUnited Kingdom, and prepare such report in such form as may be required by the Directors or by your immediate superior.  

 

Not during the currency of your engagement or at any time thereafter, whether for your own benefit or that of other directly or indirectly, make use or avail yourself of, or derive profits from or divulge or communicate to any person or persons (save as may be necessary for the performance of your obligations in terms hereof), confidential information or knowledge (including but not limited to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom’s trade secrets, business processes, trade connections, clients, client lists, marketing techniques, financial affairs and dealings) in relation to the business or affairs of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom which you shall or may have acquired by your association with the business of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom or its subsidiaries or associates. 

 

Remain just and faithful to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom in the performance of your duties. 

 

Not during the currency of this employment or at any time thereafter encourage or persuade or entice or assist or attempt to encourage or persuade or entice or assist any employee of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom, holding company, subsidiary or associated partners to leave the employment of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom.

 

JOB COMMENCEMENT/ LOCATION

 

The work Location will be within the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom. Further details included in your hard copy. You are to report immediately to the HR Manager upon arrival to conclude prospects of screening and other logistics.

 

SALARY INDICATION

You will be eligible to receive monthly basic of GBP 1,500 (One Thousand Five Hundred GBP Only) – (After tax). Salary can be transferred to any Bank designated by you in United Kingdom or abroad.

RESUMPTION DATE: 29th July 2015 (Could be extended on application)

 

ALLOWANCES/ ENTITLEMENTS

Hazard/Inconveniences: 300.00 GBP (Monthly) 

 

Car Maintenance:  300.00 GBP (Monthly)

 

House & Furnishings:  2000.00 GBP (Yearly)

 

Entertainment & Recreation: 400.00 GBP (Monthly)

Travel & Events: 2000.00 GBP (Yearly)

 

GRANTS & LOANS

 

Housing Loan: One-year service to Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom.

        Starter’s amount will be 50,971.00 GBP  

        Can be re-paid within 10years with 0.00 GBP interest.

       Lieu Car Loan: All Employees are eligible to apply.

        Starter’s amount will be 10,045.00 GBP

       Can be re-paid within 5years with 0.00 GBP interest.        

New Orleans Business Loans: All Employees are eligible to apply.

       Starter’s amount will be GBP35, 000.00 to 70,000.00 GBP

ANNUAL LEAVE 

You will be entitled to 30 (thirty) working days leave per annum. Leave must be taken at such time or times as are convenient to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom. Leave not taken when it is due, otherwise than at the insistence of the Company, may / not be accumulated. 

 

 

 

SICK LEAVE 

You shall be entitled to pay sick leave for bona fide illness or injury in terms of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997.

 

EXPENSES BEFORE TRAVEL BY EMPLOYEE 

Expenses made/incurred by the employee related to job before commencement of duties or Expenses made during Travel Plans, Processing of Travel Particulars etc will be substantiate with the receipts and Employer will re-imburse the Employee not later than Five (5)working days after submission of Employee’s expenses Report and Receipts as proofs of such Expenses.

 

Employer however agrees to reimburse fully all Travel costs and Expenses made by Employee. 

NON-UNITED KINGDOM RESIDENTS:

It is our official policy that our employees must pay relevant fees to the concern authorities for the commencement of employee travelling to job location United Kingdom, as a proof of the readiness to join our team, they have to contact Zicasso Handcrafted Travel. 

 

The agreement hereby binds Employer and Employee in that re-imbursements will be made fully to Employees upon presentation of Expense Reports and Receipts of Expenses

 

UPFRONT PAYMENT OF SALARIES

Three months salary shall be paid in advance before Candidates embark on journey to assume duty.  This is to enable candidates settle all domestic needs before travel. As such no excuses will be entertained on assumption of duty relating to default. 

Employees (Expatriates) are to note that 3-Months Upfront Salaries are to be paid as soon as Employees Procure and Process the relevant Resident/ Work Permit Documents from the Visa Office United Kingdom and submit it to the Human Resources Department for Verification.

 

All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in United Kingdom shall be 75% paid into an offshore account to be provided by employee with the remaining 25% paid locally in United Kingdom, if accepted by the employee.

 

BENEFITS/ACCOMODATION

All Employees are expected to reside at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom’s Staff quarters which are three bed rooms flat for family status and two bed rooms flat for single status / already furnished.

Car for employees to use during contract.

Dietary options, Customized cooks and Dieticians are available options in case of local dishes, we have Chefs from various countries to handle such.

 

MEDICAL BENEFITS 

Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom provides free medical and Education assistance to employee for the term of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the term of contract for employee and family.

 

 

SAFETY & SECURITY

Safety and security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and facilities on Job Locations and communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. 

 

All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment. 

 

All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. 

 

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION 

You will not, during the period of your employment or at any time thereafter, utilise either directly or indirectly or divulge or disclose to others, any of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom trade secrets which shall include inter alia, the following: 

All transaction training and management reports, prospective or current students, client or candidate information, memoranda, advice and information. 

All internal control systems including management and administration. 

Details of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom relationship with its partners and customers.

 

Details of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom financial structure and operating results. 

The contractual relationship between the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom and others with whom it has business arrangements of whatsoever nature.

All reports, manuals, financial statements, budges, client information, books, files, research papers, letters, or other similar documents, (the nature of which is not limited by the specific reference to the a foregoing items) which are created, compiled or devised or brought into being by you or come into your possession during the course and scope of your employment by the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom and all copies thereof shall be the property of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom. Upon the termination of your employment, or earlier if required by the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom, such documents and all copies, whether retained on paper, magnetic tape, computer disc or otherwise, must be returned by you to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom.

 

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Recreational/Sports Facilities shall also be made available at the disposal of all expatriates with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service will also be made available to all Expatriates by the Hilton Garden Inn HotelUnited Kingdom’s laundry and dry cleaning unit. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DOCUMENTS PROCESSING WORK/RESIDENCE PERMIT VISA.

THE EMPLOYEE IS REQUESTED TO CONTACT ZICASSO HANDCRAFTED TRAVEL OFFICE WHO SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROCESSING OF EMPLOYEE VALID UNITED KINGDOM WORK/RESIDENCE PERMIT VISA AND THEN SHOULD FORWARD IT TO THE HR OF HILTON GARDEN INN HOTELUNITED KINGDOM FOR VERIFICATION AND AUTHENTICITY CONFIRMATION.

Hence any expenses incurred during this process shall be refunded to the candidate after 5 working days of concluding all Immigration arrangement.

 

 

You are required to communicate with the travel agent, Zicasso Handcrafted Travel to guide and assist you to obtain all relevant documents to enable you obtain United Kingdom Visa Work Permit without delay or refusal.

This document, together with any of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom’s policies, procedures, codes can be amend from time to time, constitutes the whole employment agreement between you and the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom. No amendment or consensual cancellation hereof or any part hereof shall be binding unless recorded in a written document and signed by both you and the Company. Any relaxation or indulgence which the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom may show to you shall not in any way prejudice or be deemed to be a waiver of its rights hereunder, nor shall such relaxation or indulgence preclude or stop the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel United Kingdom from exercising its rights in terms hereof in respect of any further breach.
