This is a pet scam email.  The first scammer uses the email address: kristina.brigitt@hotmail.de and the fake agency email is worldwideagencia.mascotas@hotmail.com  Of course no real company of any kind would ever use a free email address! The telephone number of the "agency" is  +23771967179.  The arrest threat is quite amusing when you consider there is no pet!

You have to look for the money and pay so we issue your cat an International Traveling Certificate . Until you pay this fee of €155 then we shall issue the Traveling certificate to you showing that you have paid . You must pay the sum of €155 for all these requirements. We have contacted your sender Mrs.Kristina Brigitt about the issue at hand and you both can handle the matter before tomorrow the 30/12/2012 at 06:00 pm prompt .

You have to pay the traveling Quarantine fee of €155 as the new and register owner of the cat.so you have to come to an agreement and make this payments before the latest date as given to you .

This is the last warning we are giving you about this , so just go and pay the money and we shall issue a valid life traveling certificate for your cat and fly him over to you.

Note: IF YOU FAIL TO MEET UP WITH THESE DEMANDS BEFORE THE PROVIDED DATE YOU WILL HAVE YOUR SELF TO BLAME SINCE ITS DEALING WITH THE LIFE
OF A PET . WE HAVE ALL YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND THE ANIMAL RESCUE TEAM WILL GET TO YOU FOR FURTHER SANCTIONS.

Animal cruelty is often broken down into two main categories: Active and Passive, also referred to as commission and omission, respectively.

Passive cruelty is typified by cases of neglect or abandonment, in which the cruelty is a lack of action rather than the action itself. Cases of neglect are starvation, dehydration, abandonment of pet, allowing a collar to grow into an animal’s skin, inadequate shelter in extreme weather conditions, and failure to seek veterinary care when necessary.
Active cruelty implies malicious intent, as when a person has deliberately and intentionally caused harm to an animal, and is sometimes referred to as NAI (Non-Accidental Injury). Acts of intentional animal cruelty are indicators of serious psychological problems.

WE HAVE SEVERAL CASES OF VICTIMS THAT WERE BEING SUED AND INPRISONED FOR CASES RELATED TO PET ABANDONMENT AND MOLESTATION. BELOW ARE SOME PERTINENT EXAMPLES.
1) Carlos Montagan has been charged with animal cruelty and drug possession after a seven-month investigation which began last August.
Carlos Montagan was arrested early Friday morning at his home in Cave Creek, Ariz. The arrest was connected to a police raid at his home on January 24 this year. Then, the Maricopa County Sheriff's office seized 12 dogs they said appeared to be malnourished and the remains of three dogs buried in
Carlos Montagan's backyard. The sheriff's office said one of the corpses was charred.
He was charged 3875 pounds as indemnities and two years imprisonment.

2) Joseph Mohammed has been charged for pet abandonment in a Cameroon Animal Airport based in Cameroon.
Joseph Mohammed is another victim that was arrested because he failed to pay for the import and export duties for his four kittens coming from Cameroon to WIEN(AUSTRIA) 12 June 2012. He claimed he is no longer interested in having these kittens delivered to him and he will not make the payment.
International order was placed by the international animal rescue team to arrest him because these kittens were abandoned by Joseph Tshabalala. He was sued and jailed 4 years imprisonment with hard labor and 5000.00 Euros as indemnities.
