Duties you are expected to perform are; 

• To coordinate Health, Safety, Environment systems effectively within the region. 
• Inspect Company HSE systems to ensure compliance within the above to a level meeting current best practice and exceeding that of competitors. 
• Promote awareness and improvement in implementing HSE standards.
• Complete in field "coaching" to assure that all employees are observing, following, and understanding safety programs as well as the ability to understand and follow regulatory guidelines. 
• Ensure compliance with existing legislation and effectively report non-compliance to management. Monitor future changes in legislation for impact on the company. 
• Coordinate with all locations to ensure accident, environmental incidents and near misses are reported, investigated and effective action taken. 
• Prepare all of relevant documentation associated with audits and inspections. 
• Provides support in the development of safety meeting presentations and assists in conducting mandated safety training as per the HSE training matrix as needed and assist in reviewing employee training profiles for accuracy. 
• Conduct field visits to ensure effective systems are maintained for the identification, assessment and control of all significant hazards. 
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the company. 
• Plan, present and document weekly or monthly safety meetings as necessary. 
• Maintain and monitor employee training records for re-training and updates.

Work Location: NZ Refinery, Marsden Point, Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand

Monthly Salary: £13,500.00 / NZ$26,342.93 per month (Negotiable).

Job Rotation: You will be having 3 weeks leave/break after every 8 weeks.

Working Hours: From 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Contract Duration: 2 years (24 months) - Contract is renewable after 2 years.

Contract Starting Date: 29th April 2015
