According to the call i have received today from Barr. Raed Gonz,and your email you have sent.After my calls to you this morning,  Kindly note, that the company will take care of your Visa and flight ticket to the USA. But you will only take care of your Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation  approved by Houston  Immigration Court, as part of commitment to the company. It is stated clearly in the Offer letter . Before you are entitle to all benefits as an employee with us you must get those documents. This will help the lawyer to get your traveling documents approved with out any hitch.
 
Further to that , The company has lost so much of money from applicants  like you. As part  of your seriousness and commitment to the company, you will have to bear the expenses for the procurements of the measured documents, and that will motivate the company to proceed in filling the labor form and  making payment for your visa and flight tickets.    Employees, end up not showing up for job again, after the company has procured their traveling documents, because they must have gotten a better offer , or have one reason or the other. 
Since that has been recent problem, the company has made their new policy that any employee that wants to work with this company, for the company to process all your documents for you, you will first of all, get the Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation, first before they can proceed.
 
Finally, as stated in the offer Letter, For you to be a confirm employee of Ocean Energy Drilling (USA), you must first get your Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation  to enable you enjoy all the benefits of an employee. To confirm the recent screening process, which was conducted by the Screening Department of OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA), we are pleased to offer you an initial position as the:
POSITION: Mechanical Technician.
AGREEMENT WITNESS AS FOLLOWS: The Company desires to employ Expatriate and the Expatriate desires to become employed by the Company. The Company and the Expatriate desire to enter into Employment Agreement, which shall govern the terms of the Expatriate’s employment
WHERE AS: The Company and Employee desire to regularize their relationship and, in that context, the Company desires to continue to engage the Employee and the Employee desires to continue to serve the Company in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

Salary: Monthly starting net salary of $ 6,800.00 (USD) exclusive of any taxation.  Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing.

Performance Bonuses: Employee shall receive year-end annual bonus, to which he/she may be entitled under such Management Incentive Program as the Company may adopt with respect to each fiscal year of the Company, subject to the terms, plans, qualifications and conditions of any such plan. The full potential of the year-end annual bonus is a minimum of 30% of the Base Salary and shall be paid in accordance with the Company’s procedures for its year end Management Incentive Program (or similar plan).

Visa Information
 Benefits:
Travel Papers/Documents: All International Applicant should note that OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA) shall duly secure all traveling documents, and Visa from the Home office of the United State Immigration Service here in United State for every applicant coming from outside the United State. But your Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation shall be at your own expense, to proof your commitment to the company. It is as per Company Rules and Regulations. Due to the alarming bridge of Contract by employees here in the USA. Any employee that wishes to work with us must get this document from the Supreme Court of the United State, via the Immigration Lawyer. Stating that HE/SHE will honor the Terms of Contract with the company till the expiration. After which the company can proceed with your traveling documents. This is as a result of employees decamping from their duty post and ending their contract without prior notice to the company.
1. Work Permit: On your arrival, OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA) shall secure your work permit papers from the United State Immigration Service which will enable you to live and work legally here in United State.

2. Flight Ticket: Your flight ticket shall also be sent to you, a week before your departure. You are to provide a working and valid postal address where your ticket shall be delivered through a courier service agent, inclusive of the Hardcopy of your Offer Letter and Certificate of Employment.
3. Vacation: The employee shall be entitled to four (4) week’s vacation at full pay, in accordance with the Company Policies. The employees vacations will be scheduled at such times as will least interfere with the business of the Company
4. Accommodation: OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA), Provides accommodation to all foreign nationals at the Company’s staff estate in Houston, Texas. Employees are entitled to take meals free of charge at the General Staff canteens. Dietary options, Customized cooks and Dieticians are available options.
5. Sick Pay: Employee shall be entitled to thirty (30) days per year of fully paid sick leave, against a doctor's confirmation, which leave can be accumulated for a period of up to a maximum of two years provided, however, that the Employee shall not be entitled to sick leave payment to the extent already covered by any insurance component of any plan established by or for the benefit of the Employee pursuant.
6. Scholarships/Educational Assistance: Company shall provide scholarship awards/ educational assistance benefits for employees’ registered dependents (a spouse and maximum of 3 children, not more than 25 years of age in any school within our territories.
7. Employment Status: This engagement is a family status employment as such, employees’ are fully allowed to make job engagement trip with their family if deemed necessary by employee and shall be accommodated by OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA) for duration of contract.
8. Family Status Arrangements: Family status arrangements can only be applied after at least three (3) months of service. The Application of family status arrangement indicates that an expatriate will be entitled to a free visa and air fare for his wife or spouse or any other family member which is to be provided by the Company through the Traveling Department.
9. Orientation Program: Candidates are advice to arrive a week before job commencement date in order to attend the orientation seminar. Note there will not be further interview as your appointment is basically on the information, which you have provided on your resume before screening. There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the Human Resource Department to confirm validity.
10. Reimbursement: All expenses you incurred during the period of processing your Visa application with Immigration Consultant Mandated by OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA). Will be reimbursed before you embark on your journey. The

First 3(three) month’s upfront salaries shall be paid only if you provide immigration lawyer with the entire documents during the period of processing your Visa application.
11. Safety and Security: Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company Sector. All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts.
12. Medical and Health Care: Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive Health care for the time of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the time of contract for employee and family.
13. Communication and Internet Facilities: Laptop Computer, Intel Pentium M Processor,1 GB RAM, 48XCD-RW, 20GB Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, Integrated Network Adapter, Internal 86K Modem, Spare Battery and Necessary Software’s. 24 hours Internet access is also available. NB: The Laptop is subject to upgrade on request. The company will also provide the employee with one land line phone at home and one mobile phone both will have a reasonable credit amount each month.
CONFIRMED EMPLOYEE: For any Expatriate to be Duly Certified as a Confirmed Employee with OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA), Expatriate must acquired the Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation duly certified by the concerned authorities, without which he/she would not be given the necessary due employment’ benefits and preference as such cannot be referred to as Employee to OCEAN ENERGY DRILLING (USA).
Note: If you do not have Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation, as required by the Company Authorities, you are required to contact the Immigration Lawyer of the Company to obtain the certificate from the Supreme Court of the United States on your behalf. No Employee will be allowed to work or operate without the Affidavit.
Disputes: Any dispute arising in connection with employment, which cannot be settled amicably, shall be referred to the Federal Civil Courts. No amendment or alterations to the terms and conditions of the Agreement shall be valid unless mutually agreed in writing and signed by both the Employer and the Employee. Any terms and conditions not specifically covered under the agreement, the internal rules and regulation of the Employing Company shall be governed.
Termination: In addition, Company reserves the right to terminate the employment of any staff that flagrantly or repeatedly fails to comply with the Company’s code of

conduct or commits an offence of a magnitude that the Company considers him/her unsuitable to be in its employment.
Summary Dismissal: An Employee may be dismissed for the commission of a grave offence, in which case no notice is given. Such offences shall include inter-alias.
A. Theft and fraud in connection with Company’s business or property. Any staff found guilty or implicated in any of these offences may be liable to prosecution.
B. Disclosure of confidential information of the Company or its Associate to a third party.
C. Conviction imprisonment for criminal offence.
The Employee’s High Commission, Embassy shall be given benefit of consultation in any case involving the dismissal of its Citizens as such, Employee will also be given the chance of fair hearing and proper investigation prior to decisions conclusion.
