  1. I got a similar scam set of letters 7 October 2015 with identical wording including a job description with a salary range from 80 k GBP to 180K GBP. As well as emails from Brian Scott (recruitment@shell-careers.com) I also received emails from Mathew Kimball (hrdept@shell-careers.com). Note that Mathew is spelled with one "t" . When I did a search for Mathew Kimball on LinkedIn, I got a "profile removed" error. There is still a profile for a Matthew Kimball VP Shell Chemicals HR. Note this spells Matthew with two "t's" but I have no idea f this profile is correct or part of the scam. Bottom Line - don't give money or credit card details.

  3. Dear scam warners,

I have received the same e-mail from "shell" as you did. Also I would like to add as they improved and ask to pay to a "travel agency", where I received e-mails from following domain: reservation@smoothtravel-tour.com from Dineo Cruz.

Please be aware and be carefull as the attached documents looks very official!!

Actually I wonder to whom would I report such scam activity? Since they were using the UK domain, I have sent it to UK anti-fraud police. Is there any other site or group I can send this info to?

    Best regards,
    Anton Bogdanov

    1. There is no data leak. Scammers registered domains similar to the domains of these companies and are using them to impersonate them. Read www.scam-job-emails.tk
