It gives me great pleasure in extending to you my sincere felicitations on your appointment, we wish to contact you via Phone but the time difference won’t permit. So please bear with us. I wish to inform you that we have gone through your resume and signed agreement, we are satisfied working with you.

However, Your eligibility to work in our company have been confirmed in the office by the Company's Management. So you are expected to get all your traveling documents ready with you through the assistance of the instructed U.S. Immigration Attache who is working with the U.S. High Commission in your country India. You can bring your family along but not more than 6 members will be allowed.

NOTE: the entire traveling documents and formalities required by you should be obtained from the U.S. high commission in your country, according to the U.S. Immigration Service. Your file will be opened through the office of the U.S. Attache in the U.S. Embassy on your behalf to fasten up your visa process as soon as you meet the Embassy demand by registering with them.

We have agreed that all the cost of the visa should be paid by you, that is in accordance to the Contract Agreement Letter. Moreover, the Company Management shall send your flight ticket when your visa is ready and the housing accommodation have been provided to you. Although, the cost of visa expenses encored on the cause of procuring your papers shall be reimbursed to you within couple of days of your arrival in the company. Attached to this mail is your Appointment Letter.

All taxes will be paid by us. Your monthly starting salary is $10,000 dollar and your first increase will be from 6 months of resuming your duty. Award is available for those who show extra concern for their duty.

I received your contact email. Thank you for contacting U.S. EMBASSY Consulate General Mumbai. Your file was forwarded to me by SAMSON RESOURCES. and as enlisted on the file received from them, you were provided with an Appointment letter and to follow instructions for your Visa Application.

You are required to download the attached PDF file (VISA APPLICATION FORM) fill with a PEN (your Hand Writing), scan and return back to us, on the receipt of the completed form, I shall inform you if there is any other documents you are to produce in the absent of the documents your employer has sent on your behalf and the ones you are to produce below.

However, before I proceed in processing your visa application, you should register with the Embassy first at this consulate.

Registration, processing and handling charge is $445 US Dollar which is equivalents to 27,760 INR. (THIS FEE IS FOR REGISTRATION, PROCESSING AND HANDLING CHARGES). This fee is a consideration commitment for your visa application form so that you will be recognized by the US visa authorities and it MUST be paid by you as the name appears in the appointment letter.

Below is the breakdown of the visa Charges:
  1. Visa application Fee: Rs. 12,160
  2. Visa Registration Fee: Rs. 7000 for urgent case
  3. Processing: Rs. 5,400
  4. Handling and Urgent procurement of Visa: Rs. 3,200
Please Note: This fees is to be paid by you to your Visa officer whom will then pay it to the embassy on your behalf and receive your receipt for future reference because applicant are to pay visa charges/fees through agents by consulate order. You are to get back to us as soon as possible, so that we can provide you with the account details for payment.

Finally, kindly send to us the scan copy of the following documents.

(1). Proof of permanent residence address.
(2). 1 white photo (size 50mmx50mm), taken within the last 4 months.
(3). Resume.
(4). Degree Certificate.
(5). Filled visa form.
(6). Birth Certificate.

The above information will enable us process your application and get your visa obtained. The entire duration for obtaining your visa from the US Consulate shall not be more than 7 working days because it is a non appearance visa. You are required to send the Xerox copy of the above documents via e-mail as attached file and it must appear in coloured form.

Hours of Operation

The visa section of the U.S. Consulate General Mumbai conducts nonimmigrant visa interviews by appointment only. Our business days are Monday through Friday, except for U.S. and Indian holidays. The Consulate is also closed to the public on the last Wednesday of every month.

NOTE: As Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad consulates do not have an immigrant visa section, all immigrant applicant under those consulate jurisdictions should go to Mumbai. In other words residents of the following states of Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Union Territories of Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,  Kerela and Union Territories of Lakshadweep, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands,Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.

When your documents have been submitted and verified, you will be sure for visa approval.

Applications without all of these items will not be accepted.

Note: Children under 14 years of age are not required to attend the appointment at the Visa Application Centre or visa interview at the Embassy/Consulate. Accompany/Guardians/Parents can carry the above documents.
